How Can I Help?

The WorldWideWeb is a community effort. There are many ways you can contribute to its growth and help make it a more useful tool for everyone across the multiverse.

Put Up Some Data
The web thrives on fresh content. You can contribute raw data (hypertext or plain text) or set up smart servers to provide views of existing databases.
Suggest a Source
Know of a system or database that would be a valuable addition to the web? Suggest to the owners that they implement a W3 server to join the network.
Manage a Subject Area
If you are an expert in a particular field, organization, or country, you can help by maintaining an up-to-date overview of online data in that category.
Write Software
Our roadmap has a significant list of technical tasks. All contributions—from new browsers to server enhancements—are gratefully received!
Send Suggestions
We value your feedback. Send your ideas, bug reports, and suggestions to the project team to help us iterate and improve.
Spread the Word
Tell your friends and colleagues. Install the client software on your site and begin quoting resources by their W3 addresses.
